Editorial Standards & Review Process
Wellness content carries weight — the wrong dosage information, an unverified safety claim, or a glossed-over interaction can put a real person at risk. We treat every guide on this site as if a friend asked us the question. Here's exactly how we research, write, and review every word.
Our Promise
We do not accept paid placements, sponsored reviews, or affiliate fees in exchange for ranking. Every product we recommend is one we'd buy ourselves at full price. When we link to one of our own products, we say so plainly. When we don't have a first-party answer, we cite a peer-reviewed study or a regulatory body (FDA, NIH, NCCIH) instead of guessing.
How We Research Every Guide
- Primary sources first. We pull from PubMed, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidance documents. Every dosage figure is traceable to a specific study or regulatory recommendation.
- Real-world testing where applicable. For our own products, we publish batch-specific Certificates of Analysis (COAs) from independent labs. You can ask for the COA on any SKU and we'll send it.
- Comparison testing. When we say a product works better than another, we mean we tested both at the same dose, on the same person, on the same day. We don't compare on stat sheets alone.
- Side-effect honesty. Every guide includes a "Safety, Side Effects & Interactions" section. We don't hide adverse reports — they're as important as the benefits.
How We Vet Products
We don't recommend a product unless it meets every one of these criteria:
- Third-party Certificate of Analysis (CoA) per batch — from an ISO 17025 accredited lab
- Clear dosage per serving — no proprietary blends that hide the math
- Transparent extraction or sourcing method — we know where the raw material came from
- cGMP-certified manufacturing facility
- Allergens and cross-contamination risks disclosed on the label
- 30-day money-back guarantee from the brand (sign of confidence in the product)
Brands that won't share their CoA never appear in our buyer's guides — full stop.
Authorship & Medical Review
Every health-related guide is drafted by our editorial team and reviewed for medical accuracy before publication. Where appropriate, we engage qualified contributors — registered dietitians, herbalists with traditional training, and pharmacists — to validate dosage and interaction claims.

Update Cadence
The supplements industry moves fast. New research, new product launches, new state-level legal changes — they all affect what's accurate. Every guide on this site is reviewed at least quarterly. Major guides (dosage, safety, legal status) are reviewed every 30 days. The "Last reviewed by" line at the top of each guide tells you when it was last verified.
Conflict-of-Interest Disclosure
We are a U.S. wellness brand. We sell our own products. When we recommend an Imaginal Biotech product in a guide, we say so explicitly with an "Our pick" or "Our take" callout. We do not pay third-party publishers to feature us, we do not receive free samples in exchange for reviews, and we do not participate in affiliate fee-share programs that could bias our coverage.
Corrections & Feedback
We get things wrong. When we do, we want to know. If you spot an inaccurate dosage, a citation that doesn't support the claim, a study we should have included, or anything else worth fixing, email support@imaginalbiotech.com. Confirmed corrections are flagged at the top of the affected guide for 90 days so prior readers can see what changed.
AI & Automation Policy
We use AI tooling to help structure outlines, surface relevant studies, and check for grammatical issues. We do not publish anything written entirely by AI. Every guide on this site has been read, edited, and approved by a human editor before going live. Citations are verified by hand against the linked source.
